The WhatsApp is a type of free messaging application that has been owned by Facebook, Inc. The WhatsApp application can be mainly used for sending the text messages, voice calls, video calls, images and some other media files, documents, and the user location. The Whatsapp application requires consumer to provide a standard mobile number to access the application.
Originally users could only communicate with other users individually or in groups of individual users, but in September 2017 WhatsApp announced a forthcoming business platform which will enable companies to provide customer service to users at scale. WhatsApp was officially made available for PCs through a web client with the name WhatsApp Web. The WhatsApp user’s handset must still be connected to the Internet for the browser application to function. All major desktop browsers are supported except for Microsoft Internet Explorer. The user interface present in the WhatsApp Web is fully based on the default Android one.
