Twitter is basically a news and social networking service over the Internet. In that, users can post and interact with the messages called as tweets. The users are allowed to tweet their message and it is restricted to only 140 characters are allowed per tweet. On November 7, 2017, this character limit has been doubled for all languages except Japanese, Korean, and Chinese. Registered users can post tweets, but those who are unregistered can only read them. Users access Twitter through its website interface, through Short Message Service (SMS) or mobile-device application software. Twitter, Inc. is based in San Francisco, California, and has more than 25 offices around the world. Tweets are publicly visible by default, but senders can restrict message delivery to just their followers. Twitter has become internationally identifiable by its signature bird logo, or the Twitter Bird. The original logo was the simple word called Twitter and it was in use from its launch in March 2006 until September 2010.
