The µTorrent or uTorrent is basically an ad-ware BitTorrent client which has been owned and developed by the Bit Torrent, Inc. The µTorrent covers more than 150 million users to use the Bit Torrent client outside China. The “µ” is actually a Greek letter “mu”. In this name comes from the SI prefix the “micro-” that has been referring to the program’s small memory footprint: the program was particularly designed to use the minimal computer resources while providing some functionality when comparing it to the other larger BitTorrent clients like Vuze, BitComet, etc. The µTorrent software is also be available for multiple operating systems such as Microsoft Windows Operating system, Mac OS X, and Android.
