The Samsung Mobile Division is one of the part of five business units within the Samsung Electronics that belongs to the Samsung Group and it consists of so many divisions such as Mobile Communications Division, Telecommunication Systems Division, Computer Division, MP3 Business Team, Mobile Solution Centre and Telecommunication R&D Centre. The Headquarters of Samsung is located in Suwon, South Korea. The Samsung Electronics launched the new Telecommunication Network in the year 1977, and in the year 1983 it also started its another project on its mobile telecommunications business with the hope that this would become the company’s future growth engine. In the year 1986, samsung released its first built-in car phone called “SC-100”, but it was failure due to the poor quality. After 2 years, the Samsung developed its first mobile phone called the “SH-100” in Korea, in 1988. The Samsung’s SC-100 was the first mobile phone to be designed and manufactured in Korea.
